My name is Chet Meeks. I grew up in Rawlins, Wyoming, where my family still lives. I graduated from the University of Wyoming (BS) and the University at Albany, SUNY (PhD). I was diagnosed with Colon Cancer in 2005. I am using this blog to keep my friends and family up-to-date on my condition, and sometimes to comment on current events.

Shatterer, I am not a Nazi. I am a gay liberal postmodernist, which probably disturbs you even more than if I were a Nazi.
Mom, that new print is a copy of one of my favorite paintings by my friend Chris (treatment #3). It's called Christopher's Letter. It isn't new. I've had it for a while, but the frame was broken during my move to ATL so I had to have it re-framed.
My day was okay.
